Stoking the Embers:
Community + Practices to End 2022 with Energy and Intention
Break the cycle of end-of-year burnout.
With the onset of shorter days, fervor around the holidays and natural tendencies this time of year (Vata season, in the system of Ayurveda), the time from late October to the end of the year too often seems like one giant blur. This can set you up for a spiral of eating poorly, abandoning self care practices and giving too much energy to other people/projects, which can lead to feelings of guilt, shame and depletion. From there, we often enter the new year looking to impose punitive rules upon ourselves, which we ultimately are unable to maintain, perpetuating new cycles of self-criticism.
This virtual community is here to provide a supportive container to inspire you to live at a more sustainable pace and in alignment with your personal intentions. We will explore questions including:
How would it feel to enter 2023 from a place of nourishment and rest?
What foods would you cook to support yourself as the days grow darker?
How is the body changing as winter draws near?
How can we resist societal pressures towards overconsumption during these months?
How do we transform a typically depleting season into one that is rejuvenating for all layers of our being?
From the start of November until the winter solstice, you will receive:
Four hour-long live Tuesday sessions (11/1, 11/15, 12/6 and 12/20, 5:30-6:30 p.m. Pacific)
Weekly live meditation and community check-in (Every Sunday at 9 a.m. Pacific)
Weekly recipes to anchor you into cooking with what is most seasonal and balancing right now…with some indulgent treats as well!
Access to a private online forum for support between sessions and to foster connection in the community
Weekly emails to guide and inspire you
Access to recordings of all sessions

What’s the intention behind the program name?
I love that the last two months of the year end in “-ember.” When I think about embers in a fire, I acknowledge the great capacity that lies in something so small. A few smoldering embers can create a bonfire if nurtured and fed in the same way. I see this as a metaphor for each of our own potential. With just the spark of a small dream or intention, we have the ability to shift our lives in the direction we seek. This program provides fuel and fertile ground for doing so.
If you could use the benefit of a community and teachings to help steer you towards a potent close to the year, please join us!
