Simple Sensations Cooking Class

February 19, 2024 // 7–9 p.m. at Barefoot Atelier

Join Chef Meredith Klein for a hands-on cooking class where we will explore seasonal dishes that the whole family will love. We’ll use readily available whole foods to create nourishing and delicious dishes that are big on flavor even when you are short on time. You will learn about the healing properties of different ingredients that we use, and will expand your kitchen technique a bit a long the way too. After we cook together, we will sit down and enjoy a meal.

This class is open to all, regardless of your experience or comfort level in the kitchen. All recipes will be plant-based/kosher.

Our time together will include:

-       An introduction to the concept of food as medicine
-       Tips for sourcing ingredients
-       Hands-on cooking with guidance from Meredith
-       A shared mindful meal to conclude our time together
-       A recipe packet to take home


ABOUT MEREDITH

Meredith Klein, the founder of Pranaful, is a Los Angeles-based private chef and Ayurvedic Health Counselor who is passionate about helping individuals experience radical transformation through the practices of meditation, self reflection and healthy, mindful eating. She creates internationally-inspired organic cuisine that is driven by the seasonal fresh produce of Southern California.

Meredith's food is regularly showcased at yoga and mindful living events across the country. Meredith also creates custom menus for private parties and events in addition to offering personal chef services and cooking classes.

Meredith is the author of Kitchen Ritual: Recipes to Inspire the Art & Practice of Mindful Cooking, and her recipes are also featured in numerous other publications as well. Meredith has a 2-year-old son and is especially passionate these days about helping the youngest amongst us learn to eat robustly.
