Pranaful Cleanse FAQ
Q: Can I participate if I can't make the live online calls?
A: Of course! Each call will be recorded and available for you to listen to at your convenience. Meredith recommends listening to the calls as soon as possible following the live sessions.
Q: I can't complete the cleanse during the week when it is scheduled. Can I do it another week?
A: Absolutely! By signing up, you will have access to all the materials from the call, and can complete the cleanse at any time. You will still have access to our online cleanse forum, where you can learn from the experiences of other participants, and have your questions answered by Meredith.
Q: When will recipes and shopping lists be available?
A: All materials will be posted online by Tuesday, March 12. A shopping list will be provided in advance of that date to all registered participants for anyone who wants to begin purchasing non-perishable items sooner.
Q: What should I do if I don't own a juicer? And, what do I do if my body doesn't respond well to juicing?
A: Arranging access to a juicer is highly recommended as part of the cleansing program. If you do not own a juicer, this could be the time to invest in a basic one, and it will soon pay for itself if you're used to buying juices from local juice bars or cafes. The basic Breville juicer will work just fine. You can often find new or used juicers on craigslist or other local online marketplaces where you live. Or, chances are someone you know has a juicer sitting unused in their kitchen, basement, garage, etc., so reach out to your community. Another option is to have the juice pressed at a local juicery (recipe will be provided), or some Whole Foods Markets will juice produce for you as long as you purchase it in the store. If you're on the Westside of Los Angeles, you may choose to purchase fresh juices from Meredith directly for an extra charge.
Alternatively, some past participants have made the cleanse juices using their blenders and a nut-milk bag (available at health food stores for $8-10). For more details on this technique, check this out.
For those who wish to not juice, whether for logistical or other reasons, a juice alternative will be provided that can be substituted for breakfast.
Q: How far in advance can I prepare my food and juices?
A: Ideally all food will be prepared within 24 hours of consumption. Juices should optimally be prepared just prior to consumption each morning for maximum nutritional absorption, but can be made in advance as required.
Q: Will I need to alter my schedule in any way to accommodate the cleanse?
A: This is largely a personal decision. The cleanse includes optional saltwater flushes on Days 3 and 5 (March 22 + 24). If you choose to do the flushes, you may want to plan your day so that you are in one spot and can take bathroom breaks as needed. Likewise, the cleanse concludes with a highly-recommended but optional castor oil flush. Meredith will discuss these optional practices on the first call to help you determine if you would like to try them, and ways to optimize their timing.
All participants are encouraged to keep their calendars clear as much as possible of extra appointments, obligations, etc. The better you are able to minimize sources of stress during the cleanse week, the more present you can be to the richness of the cleanse experience.
Q: What if I cannot find some of the kitchari (mung bean stew) ingredients locally?
A: I offer a limited number of kitchari kits available for purchase. Please contact me to learn more. Kitchari kits can be used on the stove or in a pressure cooker, like the Instant Pot.
Q: What format is used for the online forum?
A: Online conversations are hosted via a private online forum. Only registered cleanse participants may view or respond to posts in the online forum.
Q: So many online cleanses I have seen are much more expensive than yours? Why is this program so much less?
A: I'm a believer that cleansing holds immense power to fuel transformation. I am on a mission for as many people as possible to experience the profound effects of cleansing, so I intentionally keep the price of the program low. I would rather that people spend their money on quality ingredients for the week than paying a high fee to join. In that spirit, I do not require participants to purchase pricey regimens of supplements or herbs as part of this cleanse. A couple basic supplements are suggested, but optional.
Q: Can I exercise while cleansing?
A: Yes – most participants find they can keep up with their normal exercise routines during the cleanse week. I do encourage you to tune into your energy levels and choose activities that feel in alignment with how you feel throughout the week.
Q: Can I take medications/herbs/supplements on the cleanse?
A: Yes – you can keep up your normal routines during the cleanse. If you have any questions, please seek advice from your doctor or healthcare practitioner.
